Data type mismatch!!!???
This article serves to introduce, illustrate, and explore some of the great ( and not so great ) string handling capabilities of Visual FoxPro. I always seem to be involved with solving many text-data related problems in my VFP projects. On the surface, handling text isnt very sexy and seemingly not very interesting. Data type mismatch!!!???
Hello all,
I am unable to find why I'm getting this error
'Data Type Mismatch'
All my tables and views are in the DE.
I'm using the navigation bar (with Save/revert buttons) in the form.
When I click on save, I get this error, but the data gets saved properly.
When I go to the debugger, this is the line with error:
Select QuotMast
Please help.. Really desperate..
Thanks all,
Regards,
Rajesh
P.S.: I have 3 combo boxes and all of them are populated from tables. The rest of the fields are all textboxes.

The comment after each line is the data type when querried. Each time I run this code, it runs through to the Update and then crashes. However, a new record is added but all the fields are blank but the date, and that date is coming through as the oldest date in the database...some type of default. I'm guessing it's something simple, but need your help. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
